Grocery Cart for Nov29- Dec7 (*and the next week)

Because I am a few days behind in grocery shopping I figured I would go ahead and shop for the next weeks meals. I will probably have to go back for milk and bread and maybe others if I find good deals. 

And the Aldi list is soooo looooong that I am not posting the detail list, but I will post the picture and Total price.

TOTAL for the Week: $136.70
($13.30  under budget of $150.00  week.)
Next weeks total should be much less because I bought the main meals this week.

Today we are tackling the laundry room and office. If you do not have a "room", you can just tackle that "area". Remember to  take 15 minutes everyday to clean in this area. The list is on this page. Also, have your kids help you with some of the chores.

M~ fold all laundry and put away/ check supplies in office
T~ clean washer and dryer/ clean or polish desk and computer
W~ take out the trash
T~ start laundry early and finish before Thanksgiving festivities!

I did not take pictures of the food because I had a really busy day. I will be taking pictures of the receipts to show you what I saved in coupons, etc... I came across some great deals at Schnucks for their flour. ONLY $.88!!!!! I got a few bags to last me through the holidays .
 
  Dominos sugar was only $1.77. Then I had $.50 coupons for 2  that doubled.  And At Kroger batteries are only $1.99!!! And I had coupons!! You should stoke up now for Christmas toys!!

America's Recycle Day!

This Sunday , the 15th, is America's Recycle Day. If you do not recycle already make recycle bins with your kids this weekend. The dollar store has all sizes of containers. You can really fancy and print out labels and laminate, tie with a ribbon for an extra special touch. Teach the kids to throw throw the items in the bins instead of the trash. Most cities have a recycle center that will leave a large bin for you to leave at the street to pick up. If you do not, like me that lives out in th...

M~ sweep porch/ organize coat closet
T~ throw away dead plants-plant flowers in pots/ put inside plants in shower and rinse
W~ refill bird feeders/straighten bookshelves
T~clean cobwebs and porch light/ detail dust
F~add welcoming touches(Thanksgivng decor)/ shampoo carpet or sweep & mop

That's $60.46 under budget! YEA! Remember, we have 7 people in our family~ pregnant mom, dad, and five always-hungry boys!

 My "baby" turned three last June. Shortly after he finally gave up diapers. I had been trying to train him for a year. I thought it was hopeless! Then suddenly, out of the blue, he decided to be a big boy. Most of my boys have been right at the age of three. With the baby before, Noah, I thought I had actually gotten the potty training thing down! He was trained at barely two and a half. Then Luke comes along to bring me back to reality.
