Christmas Countdown~ GingerBread Boys

I read the Gingerbread Man book the other night and the boys begged to make these. So,the gingerbread village will just have to wait...again.

Gingerbread Boys:
1 package gingerbread cookie mix
icing/frosting
gingerbread cookie cutter
flour

1. Make cookies as directed.
2. Let cool then ice as desired
* Cake frosting is softer and does not decorate with fine lines

In Pictures:

Gather ingredients


Mix ingredients. It will seem dry, but will be fine.


Scrub, scour, sanitize your hands. Then form into a ball.

Christmas Countdown~ Gingerbread Village

 Saturday on facebook I said we would be making a gingerbread village. We got too busy after coming home from the parade that we didn't get a chance. So, today this is what we will be doing!! I can't wait to show you pictures of the boys creations! There is a little house for each of them. Jack is still too little to make one. He can watch and eats his puffs. ;)

Seth's Birthday Week!~ Weekly Menu

December 11th Seth will be 12 years old! He is my (one and only) quiet child that likes to be by himself. He never asks for much. He also doesn't eat much. Well, he eats a lot of what he loves. So, Jeff and I decided that this whole next week until his birthday will be HIS week! I will make every type of dinner that he likes to eat. And some breakfasts, too.

Breakfasts:
~chocolate chips pancakes, french toast, cereal, malt-o-meal, eggs, toasts, fruits

Lunches:
~ school, turkey, PB, ramen noodles,...

Grocery Cart~ $150.08

I did not take pictures of my food because I didn't think I would have my computer fixed. I also did a "no-no", in my book. I only went to walmart. I've had quite a week. The total is not just food. I bought Christmas crafts, batteries, medicine, etc...
Hopefully, I will do much better next week.
