Do you ever look at your child?

I mean really look at your child?

in the still. peace. quiet. rest.

Do you wonder? Wonder what they think, in their little child's mind of innocence.

Nothing. They just are. Are simply just.

They are JOY. Immeasurable.

They are with you.
Have you.
Are you paying attention to them?

They just want YOU

to sit

to be

with them.

Still and quiet and secure.

When they climb their

Mountains

in life, will you be at the top to cheer them on?
Encourage them, with every breath you have?

Do you really look at your child?

Their little hands

tiny
dirty
soft
tender.

pretending
loving
determined little hands

They make
something
out of nothing.

Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.

Ruth 1:16

Do you lead them on a path they ned to go?

Do your eyes see where they are going?
Are you looking?

But, we can't see

over the horizon.

Where will they go?
What is in the future? For them, for us.

You can't see where the path leads.. But you know its to somewhere beautiful.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jer. 29:11

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
⁶in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
