Do you Know what "Time" it is?

Do you know what "time" it is? It's just "Ordinary Time". If you have a Christian calendar, you will see it lays out what Christian events are going on throughout the year. The time between special holidays is called "Ordinary Time". We just finished celebrating Thanksgiving and then our Lord and Savior's birth at Christmas, but what now? You'll want to say, "Nothing, today is just an ordinary day." But really it isn't. Right now is to focus on our growth in Christ. We have special colors that represent Jesus and our Christian walk.  Black represents our sin and death. Red represents Jesus' shed blood to save us from our sins. White represents Jesus' death has washed us white as snow.  Purple represents Jesus' royalty as the King of Kings, Lord of Lords. And the "ordinary time" we are in right now is Green. Green represents growing in Christ.

I'd like to ask you something personal. Are you growing? Are you maturing? Are you the Proverbs 31 Woman(what this site is about)? Or are you the Titus 2 Woman, mature and mentoring to younger Christian ladies?
You may ask, "How can I grow? I go to church on Sunday. I do my part. I don't have any other time!". There are many ways to grow in the knowledge of Jesus. It will make us stronger and more mature for our spiritual journey.

The other day someone said, "Can't you just take 15 minutes out of your day for God?". Think about that. 15 minutes out of a day that consists of  1,440 minutes a day. What if you came to God in prayer and petition and He said, "No, I don't have time for you today, maybe tomorrow.". But when tomorrow comes He didn't have time, or the next day, or the next day. But God isn't like that at all. He is there for us every moment of everyday. Shouldn't we be just like that? Like I say on my site, "15 minutes is all it takes to bless your home." Shouldn't you also be thinking," 15 minutes is all it takes to bless God and yourself in the process."?

 How to make time:

1. Awake early to have prayer and Bible time.
2. Do studies with your children.
3. Get involved in bible studies in a local church.
4. Get involved in a sunday school group.
5. Read before going to sleep at night.
6. Read bible stories to or with your kids. Talk about what you just read.
7. Read a devotional book everyday.
8. Grow with you husband. Read a couple devotion. Read the one year Bible together every night.
9. Join a discipleship group.
10. Join a study group on Wednesday night at a local church. Kids have childcare at the church!

Here are a few links to some of my personal favorite ways to "grow" in Christ.
