My Very Simple Lasagna

Lasagna:
1 lb ground beef or chuck
1 lb sausage
2 cans/jars spaghetti sauce
1 small carton cottage cheese
parmesan cheese
2-4 C mozzarella cheese
2 eggs
lasagna noodles, cooked
basil & italian seasoning

1. Brown beef and sausage. Add spaghetti sauces and simmer.
2. In medium bowl, mix cheeses, eggs, few dashes of basil and italian seasoning.
3. Layer: meat sauce, noodles, cheese mixture, noodles, meat sauce, cheese mixture, noodles, meat sauce, then top with mozzarella cheese.
4. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes/ 1 hour, if frozen 


In Pictures~ recipe doubled:
 
  

Brown beef and sausage




Cook noodles




Add sauce to the cooked beef and sausage.




Add one can of water




Add Italian seasoning, simmer.




Gather cheeses, eggs, and basil for cheese mixture. Save some mozzarella for the topping.




I don't have a specific amount for the basil. I like a lot of basil.




Start layering with meat sauce...




Then noodles. Please make sure you use freshly boiled and do not let them sit like I did, or they will clump together!! Mine are not so pretty, sorry! 




Spread meat mixture, covering all of noodles. Then, add cheese mixture. 




Layer again, then bake! Enjoy!
